Participant View (Voter)

Overview

The participant screen is the mobile or desktop web interface your guests see when they open your session link to vote. It is carefully engineered to be extremely intuitive, lightning-fast, and unapologetically requires zero registrations or app downloads from your participants.

1. Accessing the Voting Poll

A participant can access the session in three distinct ways depending on how you configured the event:

  • Open Session (Access via QR or Short link): They type the generic link into their browser or seamlessly scan a QR code. If you demanded a name, they'll bump into a polite welcome screen asking them who they are before unlocking the voting booth.

  • Private Session (Personal Invitation): They receive a long, encrypted URL by email that belongs exclusively to them. Tapping it plunges them directly inside without asking for a name, because the link intrinsically already knows exactly who they are. If their token has expired or is invalid, a descriptive error safely halts them.

  • Results Mode: A specialized link you can freely distribute once the event terminates, permitting them to review which option won the gold on each question without granting them any power to continue voting.
  • (The participant invariably spots a globe icon safely tucked in the top right corner granting them the ability to switch their language to any natively supported idiom in real time).

    2. Navigating the Survey

Firmly anchored at the bottom of their screens, voters wield Previous and Next buttons empowering them to navigate fluidly through the available active questions.

  • Bulletproof Reconnections: If a participant's mobile phone randomly dies, they inexplicably lose cellular reception, or accidentally murder their web browser, there is zero cause for panic. Upon reopening the link, the system magically drops them precisely on the exact slide they were pondering without sacrificing any of their hard-earned progress.

  • Synchronized Waiting: If they relentlessly advance arriving at the final actively unlocked question while you still keep the rest of the survey padlocked, they will hit a deeply relaxed holding screen. They simply must wait patiently until you explicitly violently blow the locks off the next questions via your admin panel.

  • 3. Voting Experience per Question Type

  • Single or Multiple Choice: They face large gray buttons. Tapping one instantly highlights it in bright blue. Once their mind is conclusively made up, they must absolutely confirm by submitting the ballot securely.
  • Priority (Ordering): They tap the available options reflecting the exact order they prefer. Numbered bubbles ("1", "2", "3") instantly manifest tracking their ascending favorite selections.
  • Word Storms: They are presented with barren text fields designed for typing robust short answers (e.g., "Creativity", "Innovation"). If your moderation gate relies upon activated safety limits, they'll encounter a friendly notice assuring them their submission was received and sits safely pending your human review before bouncing onto the big screen for the rest of the room.

  • 4. What does the voter see after voting?

You rigidly dictate this dynamic using the "Hide results to participant" setting:

  • If you decisively choose Show (default): The precise second they forcefully confirm their vote, their personal interaction button smoothly dissolves, making magnificent way for vividly animated percentage bars broadcasting the global totals dynamically collected by the rest of the room in live real-time.

  • If you definitively choose Hide: Upon voting, they remain completely blind to the living statistics, acquiring only a bold circular Tick ✔️ icon acting as cold proof that their mathematical vote safely plunged securely into the digital ballot box.
  • The organizer ruthlessly retains the absolute power to tease and playfully harness the unbridled curiosity of their audience.

    5. Q&A (The Bottom Chat)

If you have formally enabled the Questions & Answers session block, the bottom mobile navigation bar dramatically splits the device's real estate into two robust tabs: one commanding the Event Voting ballots, and another guarding the Q&A forum.

From within the Q&A trenches, the participant can draft their personal inquiries freely. The second they launch a message they witness it render as a distinct cream-colored block trapped awaiting formal review. When you, towering upon the stage, gracefully accept it, the participant victoriously watches their message glow vibrant green as it propagates into the public list visible to all the other guests haunting the room. Additionally, the participant can tap the Q&A tab on their mobile device at any time to force an on-demand refresh (refresh on-demand) and instantly see any changes to the status of their questions as well as the general list.
